On 15th day of the Chinese New Year is the Lantern Festival and AISB students visited a Chinese Temple. The Lantern Festival is the traditional end of Spring Festival celebrations.

Some people send glowing lanterns into the sky, while others release floating lanterns to the sea. Mr. Wong gave us a tour of the Chinese temple. He showed us how to light incense, and the right order where to put the incense after saying a prayer, a wish or words of gratitude. We also burned money of god papers as an offering. We also saw our Chinese zodiac signs and the big statue of Buddha. The trip was short but it was a great learning experience.
